===== General Purpose and Transliteration =====

The main text font for this site is [[http://software.sil.org/gentium/|Gentium Plus]] (which does not include glyphs for Hebrew). We also include [[http://www.linuxlibertine.org/|Linux Libertine]], [[http://www.brill.com/about/brill-fonts|Brill]], and [[http://software.sil.org/charis/|Charis SIL]] in our font stack, so if you have any of these fonts installed on your system, all should be well.

===== Hebrew =====

It is recommended that the [[http://www.sbl-site.org/educational/BiblicalFonts_SBLHebrew.aspx|
SBL Hebrew]] font is installed for best results. The [[http://culmus.sourceforge.net/|Culmus Project]] produces excellent Hebrew unicode fonts, and [[http://culmus.sourceforge.net/taamim/index.html#TaameyFrankCLM|Taamey Frank]] is in our font stack, as is [[http://scripts.sil.org/EzraSIL_Home|Ezra SIL]].

===== Greek =====

Gentium Plus (see above) includes a full and attractive set of Greek characters. We also make use of [[http://www.sbl-site.org/educational/BiblicalFonts_SBLGreek.aspx|SBL Greek]], and Palatino Linotype which is pre-installed on many Windows systems.

SAHD articles make limited use of Syriac; currently the display font is set to Estrangelo Edessa, part of the [[http://www.bethmardutho.org/index.php/resources/fonts.html|Meltho Syriac Fonts]] project.
